About Me
Building My Foundation
My journey in sales began at Bourlier’s BBQ and Fireplace. Yes that’s my family’s business. I started working there at just 13, helping with deliveries and learning what it meant to take care of customers. Over time, I moved from the delivery truck to the sales floor, developing a consultative approach rooted in listening and understanding people’s needs. I worked on and off there for about eight years, and those experiences shaped me more than I could’ve imagined. They taught me how to lead, how to communicate, and how to help others make confident decisions. Bourlier’s gave me my start, but it also gave me something bigger: the foundation of who I am today.
Eventually, I realized I needed to carve my own path. I wanted to develop new perspectives and broaden my horizons. I was ready to make the leap.
Taking the leap
That’s when I found Ideal Calibrations. I joined their team in a hybrid role that combined sales support, technical communication, and content development. Over the next three years, I helped build out product listings, wrote educational resources, and supported B2B clients across the country. It was a huge shift from retail to technical sales, but it made me far more well-rounded. I discovered that my real strength wasn’t just understanding products—it was understanding people.
Now at Publishing Concepts (PCI), I get to do what I love most — talk to people, hear their stories, and find the common ground that connects us all. This role has sharpened my communication and reminded me that success isn’t a destination — it’s a process. I’m proud of where I’ve come from, but even more excited for what’s ahead. Every conversation, every challenge, and every goal brings me one step closer to the person I’m becoming.
Discovering My Strengths
Through each stage of my career, I’ve learned that my greatest strengths come from connection, curiosity, and persistence. Whether helping a family choose the perfect grill, guiding a client through a technical solution, or uncovering a story over the phone, I’ve always thrived on understanding people and finding ways to make their goals a reality. Sales isn’t just about transactions — it’s about trust, and I’ve built mine one conversation at a time.
